The Music Industry goes into hibernation during December and I'm planning on doing that myself. Since the website crashed I've been a little distracted with rebuilding and restoring data. As you can see we updated the site to fit a wider screen along with a 3 column format. Hopefully it will be refined in the following weeks where it will be
easier to use.
Final thought, I had planned to post about our one year anniversary of the blog sometime next week but when I looked back we actually had started blogging August 14th with the post: Does Nashville Need More People Creating Crap. Happy belated birthday to our blog. Anyway, what I was thinking was when the regular posts had started which is December 23, 2006. I was sitting in Fido's coffee shop thinking what happened to music radio; the result was "Music Radio Should Be More Like Talk Radio." I still pretty strong today as I did a year ago, radio is in trouble and with online royalty rates going up it isn't going to help music diversity. One of my favorite online music sources Pandora even talks about closing down if things do not change. I listen to less music now than I did a year ago which is sad, I spend more time listening to talk radio and NPR for information.
Have a good holiday everybody, we've got a few posts left this year and then we'll be back in full force in 2008.
